It is important that all students take part in sporting activities, for it is said that “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and Jill a dull girl”. Therefore, all Cambrians are encouraged to participate in sporting activities in order to make them physically and mentally fit and agile. Sports not only make Cambrians active, but it also makes them develop leadership qualities and a sporting attitude. “Sports is not for the sake of a ribboned coat nor the selfish hope of a season’s fame.”
The following games are offered to the students: Basketball, Volley Ball, Cricket, Football and Throwball. The students are also encouraged to take part in athletics and during the Sports’ Day, the students participate in sprints, races and other events and the winners are given prizes. There are also individual championships for different sections.
